ABOUT GUY HAWSON.

Guy was educated at the University of New South Wales, College of Fine Arts and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Visual Arts).

Between 1984 and 1990 he attended and then taught life drawing at the Paddington Art School. The School is renowned for its emphasis on expression in drawing.

In 1990 he settled in London and worked on his first commissioned mural; a large baroque ceiling and wall mural in a 17th century mansion just outside of London. The experience encouraged Guy to pursue similar work upon returning to Australia. He has since worked as a freelance artist in the commercial areas of murals, scenic art, fine art reproductions and private commissions. These days he enjoys exhibiting his work which he describes as "a mix of invention, emotion and representation".
